The tournament fee is $450 per player ($900 per team) and will be due via Venmo to @Chase-Thorp. Fees will be due by July 1st, 2025
This $450 will include payouts for overall champion, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places for one flight, day money, our personal Lake Cup beverage cart girls, a portion of the beverages on Friday & Saturday, and of course the exclusive Lake Cup tee gift
The following rates will include:
Accommodations for three nights on property, practice round greens fee, par 3 course greens fee, & greens fees for round 1 & 2.
The Board will need to collect an official handicap from each participating player no later than September 15th. Email us your name and GHIN number at contactlakecup@gmail.com
Group pairings for round 1 will be made ahead of time. Please refer to https://lakecup.golf/tee-times%2Fpairings for up to date pairings and tee times for the event.
36 holes of tournament play will have to be completed by all 12 teams to determine winners. If they are not completed, each participant will receive a percentage of their entry fee monies back.
80% of each player's handicap will be used. Exceptions will be during the Shamble format and the Modified Alternate Shot format.
Each player will receive one mulligan per day.
Giving putts will be allowed at the 2025 Lake Cup at the discretion of your playing group.
Ties will be broken in a scorecard playoff using the latest USGA method. The last 9 holes for the day will be compared. If there is still a tie, the last 6 holes will be compared, then the last 3, and then the 18th hole if needed.
